Procedure:
- Plan the design of rocket
- Buy body tube and cut it down to 15 inches with scissors
- Shape wooden nose cone and bottom plug on the lathe
- Cut out fins on the band saw to 5 inches in height
- Mark the guide lines for the fins on the body tube
- Glue the fins to the body tube and the bungie to the inside of the body tube with a hot glue gun
- Form the paper clip around the coin roller to make sure the engine stays in place
- Cut out chunk of styrofoam to fill the nose cone and make sure it fits properly in the body tube
- Paint the fins and body tube silver, red, and blue and let dry
- Cut bottom plug into two half inch disks.
- Paint nose cone red
- Cut plastic bags into streamers
- Filll nose cone with styrofoam and fit into body tube with scotch tape
- Attach streamers to nose cone
- Attach bungie cord to nose cone
- Glue disks to coin roller
- Place engine holder inside body tube and glue
- Attach straw to rocket
- Place engine in rocket holder
- Blast off!!!!!
